I received a new lease on life on September 29, 2022. The liver transplant team at Duke University Hospital removed my diseased liver and replaced it with a healthy one in a 10 hour operation.

Because of the prayers of so many people all over the world together with the Grace of God my recovery is going extremely well! I was discharged from the hospital on October 10, 2022.

Loni and I continue to have a journey ahead and need your prayers to help us navigate our new and changing normal. I do ask that everyone pray for the donor‘s family. Pray that they receive some measure of comfort as they deal with the loss of their loved one.

As I continue to get stronger, I will return to the regular posts so we can all honor the sacrifices of our brothers and sisters by learning from their LODD’s. Until then, Stay Safe!
