Again, NIOSH doesn’t list any LODD’s on December 6, but Firefighterclosecalls.com lists several dating back to 1899, including 9 firefighters killed in 1917 when a French munitions ship exploded in Halifax harbor causing the largest explosion in the pre-nuclear age.
